Gelcoats

Gelcoat is a material used for providing a high-quality finishing on the surface of a fibre reinforced composite gel coat. The most common gelcoats are based on unsaturated polyester resin. Gelcoats are modified resins in the liquid applied into molds. They are cured with organic peroxides, supported with the composite polymer matrices which are ketone peroxide and then mostly polyester resin and fiberglass mixes only for creating cross-linked polymers,
