Resin transfer molding (RTM), is the cold hardening application which is activated with accelerators. RTM is a method for production of high- tech composite structures. RTM process is being producing consistently part quality and composite parts required for the applications of high strength, complex geometries, tight dimensional tolerances and typically aviation. RTM uses a closed mold, usually made of aluminum. A fiber layer is placed in the mold, mold is closed, heated and placed under vacuum. The heated resin is injected into the mold for impregnation of its fiber layer. After that, mold is kept at a sufficient temperature for being tempered resin with organic peroxides.
