The Chemical Industry, which is one of the development indicators of countries, is the supplier of many industries. AKPA Kimya was established in 1997 to respond to this need;
is specialized in Organic Peroxides, Initiators, Accelerators and Dye Dryers used in Composite, Petrochemical and Paint industries. It carries out its production operations in its 38.000 m² closed and 70.000 m² open factory located in Muratlı Organized Industrial Zone in Tekirdağ, Turkey.
The factory facilities include R&D, Quality Control and Environmental Laboratories, standard and refrigerated warehouses and offices. The company's domestic and international sales, marketing, financial affairs, finance and logistics operations are carried out from its headquarters in Istanbul. In addition, a warehouse with a closed area of 7,500 m² was opened in 2018 in Istanbul Kıraç region in order to make faster and timely deliveries to domestic business partners.
AKPA Kimya, which has a wide range of products in the chemical industry, provides fast and timely product supply to the whole world, especially Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, thanks to its strategic geographical location. Today, AKPA Kimya regularly exports to more than 75 countries and its international sales account for more than 75% of total sales.
Taking an active role in the global market and constantly developing, AKPA Kimya has established a team of experts in R&D, production, quality control, quality assurance and sales and marketing for product development and technical support in order to meet the needs of its business partners in the most appropriate way and to make customized productions according to their demands. Significant investments in R&D have played an active role in AKPA Kimya's growth process. In 2018, AKPA Kimya allocated 4% of its turnover to R&D investments and not only responds to the needs of its business partners in the most appropriate way, but also conducts special studies according to their applications. This solution-oriented production-development approach has brought service quality to a higher level.
AKPA is certified by ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards in order to improve and secure product quality. It has been approved by ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standards.
