EFOX 101
EFOX 101 is an effective peroxide for the degradation of polypropylene (CR-PP) in the temperature range 200-250˚C. It gives PP producers great flexibility in controlling the Melt Flow Index (MFI) of a polymer. Small changes in peroxide concentration or process temperature can produce significantly different MFI. EFOX 101 can also be used as a chelating catalyst to reduce residual monomer in the bulk polymerization of styrene.
